The Facilitator

Cheryl Wood lives in Huntsville, Ontario. She has a B.A. from St. Thomas University, New Brunswick, majoring in English and Psychology. Cheryl has been trained and licensed as a Davis Facilitator by Davis Dyslexia Association International®, and is currently Huntsville's only licensed Davis provider.

Dyslexia is present within the family. Cheryl's daughter Megan had trouble learning to read and spell. She was tested in third grade, and found the program worked well for her. Cheryl then felt it would be beneficial to take the facilitator training program. This way, she could help her daughter and others have a more successful school experience.

She has worked hand in hand with her daughter's teachers over the past few years, and in unison this had great success for Megan. Cheryl is fully confident in the program, and she is looking forward to working with many new families.

Professional services described as Davis™, Davis Dyslexia Correction®, Davis Symbol Mastery®, Davis Orientation Counseling®, and Davis Math Mastery® may only be provided by persons who are employed by a licensed Davis Specialist, or who are trained and licensed as Davis Facilitators by Davis Dyslexia Association International.
